We know it must be the one, since Lillian's place of residence in 1935 is given as Madison, WI, which is a perfect "match". As I continue searching the MA birth index, I find only one good "candidate" for Edward: Edward T. McCullough, born in Middlesex Co., MA Feb. 1, 1906. And this Edward appears to have died at Gary, IN in July of 1974 (re: SSDI), so I have a "hunch" this must be the "right" man! And I must presume Edward and Lillian were divorced in Indiana BEFORE Lillian moved to CA, so there would be nothing more to be found in CA records about Edward McCullough! By the way, I wonder, since I understand you live in Contra Costa Co., CA where Lillian died (re: CADI), would you by any chance have a possibility to check out her death record to see * Where she actually died? * Place of her burial? * Where she resided (with length of stay)? * Her occupation? * Marital status? * Informant's name?
