    2. I have misplaced the ship record of my gggrandfather's arrival in America. George Vitzthum arrived in 1853 from Germany. Would someone please look this up for me? Greatly appreciated and always willing to help in return. Betty

    3. George Vitzthum im. 1848 Emigration to North America from the government district of Oberbayern (Upper Bavaria), 1846-1852. From the state archives of Oberbayern in the Hauptstaatsarchiv at Munich. Concerns 1,144 emigrants from Upper Bavaria in the Kingdom of Bavaria to North America. There were two other Geo's but were 1 & 2 years old. Arrived 1882 & 1893.
