ALTERMATT, a local contractor, will have charge of the work. 2] Trinity County High School and Weaverville Grammar School will reopen Monday. Mrs. Montgomery will be teaching the Mathematics classes. 2] LESLIE HANLON, editor of the Trinity Count High Scool newspaper "The Sluice Box", won the $5 first prize money for the best news storywritten at the Newspaper Workshop on 19, February. Runners up were, WAYNE MOSS,<2nd, getting $3, and RITA BUTLER,<3rd, getting $2. 25 yrs ago. 27, February 1985. Wednesday. 1] Steelehead <fish> at the Hatchery are running low, even though the river has been raised to 800 cubic feet per second <Cfs>. Of the 76 fish counted in the Trinity River only 10 have been lured into the hatchery.
