    1. [NORCAL] Newpaper story about Shasta County

    3. I was sent a link to a site where front pages of newspapers can be seen - but just the front page - Put your cursor on a city anywhere in the world and the newspaper headlines pop up... Double click on the dot - the front page of the paper will load for you. www.newseum.org/todaysfrontpages/flash/ To read papers from across the world, just click one of the tabs at the top. So, when I clicked on Redding, CA, for Friday, March 19, the front page had a blurb about an 'Uncovered Story" - A school district finds old record books that connect Shasta County women to their ancestors. This story is on B-1, and of course I can't get to see that page. Just thinking this might be interesting to those of us with family in/from that area, maybe someone can look at the article and maybe transcribe it? Or send a link to that page? Thanks. Margie
