ALWARD of Redding has started construction of 5 small cottages on the lot on South Main, where the old stage barns were recently wrecked. Mr. ALWARD is building the cottages to rent, and they will help to decrease the houseing shortage here. 3] BEGINING, 18 , April 1960, the Journal will be published on Thursday instead of Saterday, as has been the custom for these past years. 4] Wreckers have completed the wreckig of the oldbrick building at the head of Main Street last week. Calling it their "miracle Church", members of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church will hold a dedication on Saterday 06, April. President Elder PHILLIP FOLLETT and secretary Elder SIMONS will lead the dedication and pastors who have served the local church will attend. The group began meeting in 1936..( 49 yrs ago). 2] An unexpected snow sotrm dumped heavy amounts of snow on most of the areas of Trinity County, disrupting transportation, closing schools and bringing power outages to most areas. HAP MILLER of Wvvle, reported 14 inches of light fluffy snow fell in Wvvle on 26, March, and he measured another 9 inches on the 27th, for a total of 23 inches.
