Thank you for the information Sam ________________________________ From: "DULCICH6@aol.com" <DULCICH6@aol.com> To: norcal@rootsweb.com Sent: Sat, May 15, 2010 12:56:42 AM Subject: Re: [NORCAL] Louis Huntington Sam, According to his World War 2 Draft Registration card, his birthday was Dec. 25, 1877 instead of the 27th of Dec. He also registered for World War 1, but I can't get to the image. Suddenly it is not included in my membership at Ancestry although it was last week. According to the Voter's Registration of 1906 & 1908, he was a plasterer living at 1541 Fountain Street. There is a James Samuel Jamison living at the same address. He is a teamster. There is a pension file for him with the Civil War records and yes, I realize that he was born after the CW but pensions from the Sp-Am War are filed with the CW pension files and could be a large source of info. He served with the G8 Calif. Inf and filed for pension from Calif. in Dec. 1932. The Application number is 1,476,513 and the Certificate number is 1, 277, 324. Additional number to get the file is C 2-371-092. It is under the name of Louis T. Huntington. Louis and Mabel are both interred at the Golden Gate National Cemetery. Sharon Kern Co.
