WALKER age 20 [b. about 1830] Massachusetts, M, Black Alexander DEWSON age 8 [b. about 1842] Massachusetts, M, Black In the 1855 Massachusetts State census they are in Charlestown, Ward 3, household 167/235 NOTE: Eliza is the widow of David Walker, radical black abolitionist (1st marriage) and Alexander Dewson (2nd marriage). Edwin is D. Walker’s son and Alexander is A. Dewson’s son. Edwin became one of the 1st African-American Massachusetts judges. Alexander and his family lived in Oakland, CA.
