Hope it helps, anyway: Record Searchlight Redding, California Monday, June 30, 1986; p. 1   CHP Says drinking killed 3 --   3 people were killed in 3 separate north state traffic accidents in which the California Highway Patrol suspects drinking and driving as a factor.   The deaths, on Interstate 5 in Redding, near Whiskeytown Dam west of Redding and on Highway 299 near Salyer, were the worst of several weekend highway accidents, including one in which an 8-year-old Sacramento girl was thrown from a car on I-5 north of Weed.   In the 1st incident, Ramona SNELSON, 38, of Proberta died following a single-vehicle wreck on I-5 at the Hilltop Drive overpass. She apparently was found near the car and died at Mercy Medical Center in Redding at approximately 2 a.m. Saturday.   The CHP report says Mrs. SNELSON's husband, William, was southbound when he swerved to avoid a slower vehicle, lost control and rolled down an embankment on the west side of the freeway.   SNELSON, cited on suspicion of felony drunken driving, was listed in "fair" condition at Mercy this morning.
