OK, fellow Norcalers, I need your help. I've looked under every single rock and have found nothing, so am asking for your help. I'm looking for a Ramona (Rae) Denson Smith born in OR, (Klamoth Falls probably) abt 1935/37. She was still living in Paradise, CA in 1973. Sometime between then and 1989 she divorced her dh, Robert Smith. She was mother to 2 boys, Robert Jr and Ronnie. She attended Butte community college, Ororville in the early 1970's. Would someone have access to marriage records from 1973 thru 1989? Or any other ideas? Thanks in advance. donna Smith
I found a death record for Ramona Snelson b. 9-9-1938 Oklahoma d. 6-28-1986 Shasta Co. Her mother's maiden name was Long - father's last name Denson. Also found her marriage to William E. Snelson in Nevada marriage records - date 8-15-1981. Jan
Jan, the more I think, I'm thinking that she WAS born in Okla, not OR. And that she lived in OR at the time of her 1st marriage. I've spent the last 3 hrs searching the web and found a Wm Snelson in Red Bluff, even paid Intellius, but the phone number belongs to someone else. He's supposed to be manager of the county of Tehama, and was 7 yrs younger than Rae, if this one is him at all. Do you have any ideas where I might find him? I sent you the possible divorce records I found. You give a birthdate between 1935 and 1937. How accurate it that date? I found a marriage for a Ramona R Smith in October of 1981 in Tulare County but her birth was in 1940. I will keep looking. Do you need me to check the cemetery records here in Paradise?
