They are completely different. - I use both. I have subscribed to GenesReunited for 2 years and found lots of my family on the other side of the *Pond*. It links you directly to present day descendants of the people you enter into their database. - Ancestry has census which GenesReunited doesn't and it has many other sources too. Here is their link - http://www.theimnews.com/ There is another paper in the area called the Mountain Echo. They are available online, but you have to pay a subscription fee. I have a sub & checked this week's (today's) & last week's issue, but didn't find Paul. Unfortunately, their links for past years are broken. They have a page for recent obits - http://www.mountainecho.com/obituaries.html If you don't find what you're looking for on the above sites, I can have the Redding paper sent up, but as stated below, it'd take a couple of weeks.
