Anyhoo yes SOCAL is active and yes you were subscribed. Interestingly when you subscribe you are automatically subscribed to the plain version (non-digest) which appears as a checked box. In your case neither the plain nor the digest box was checked. I don't know if that means you won't get messages or that you just didn't get any because the list is so quiet. I checked plain. Thanks for your reply. The only info on him in Medcocino County is on the 1880 US Census. Him, his father and sister moved to Alameda, CA around 1895.
