Hi Richard and Ellen, Not quite sure yet, but John Vatne/Vattne/Wattne came over to America, had some children, went to Canada, he and his wife died and the children went to the Childdren's home here where I live. One of the children's grandchildren are looking now for living relatives in Norway as John had a sister that dieed in the 1980's in Norway. Will check with her and see if she knows more.
