It is wonderful to know more about her and her family. Do you live in this area, by chance? We visited there in 1995 but before the internet had really come of age for genealogy. My husband's grandfather said he had been born off the North Sea but we were surprised how close it was. We met kind neighbors who had known the family and said that the Nazi's had taken over the house forcing the family to live in the basement. Each bit brings more to life. He is not listed in the death records for Vest-Agder. There seems to be some confusion on your tree about his son, Bernt Matthias. I'm looking for death or burial records Bernt Mattias Abrahamsen, 1835-1905. The family lived in Vere, Vest-Agder, Norway. His wife (Anna Marie Berntsdatter) and daughter are buried at Vanse Church Cemetery but there was no headstone there for him and I'm not sure where he died. I am told that he spent at least half of his time working in America, probably on the Great Lakes, while supporting his family in Vere. Stilluf Tobias Palm and Lovisa Palm's son, Martin, was my grandfather. Martin & Ruth Palm were my grandparents. My mother is Harriet. Lovise (Krogmo or Krogstad) Palm was born Nov. 27, 1859 and died Feb. 21,1901. She is buried in Wisconsin at West Immanuel Lutheran Church cemetery. Lovise and Stilluf were married in 1885.
