Hi Margrit, My grandfather homesteaded in Minot ND in Ward Co. We have found a bio. of him in North Dakota History and Peoples, also found his homestead in Land Patent Details. Hope to find more about his family in Norway his mother' name was Raghild and father Knudt, there is a family that seems to match in Fron, the area of Sodorp. He was born in 1860 or 1858. He had a twin but it was an older sister Anna that went with him to the US going to WI. I have found info in the LaCrosse archives. The search goes on. Barb
