My daughter and I plan to drive to Coon Valley, WI and LaCrosse WI where Ole was located in the 1880s.The people at Coon Valley state that many of the emigrants from Sodorp and Biri came to Coon Valley WI. It is a beautiful drive along the Mississppi River from the Twin Cities to LaCrosse. Barb

Coon Valley near La Crosse, Wisconsin was known as the Gudbrandsdalen in the USA. That's why many of the immigrants from that area in Norway settled there.
