Margit, My grandfather came to the United States from Sordorp, Oppland County in 1893. I am trying to determine: What ship brought him from Norway? Where did he leave from? Did any other family members come with him? He eventually arrived in Otter Tail County Minnesota around Parkers Prairie and met my grandmother Carrie Peterson. They were married in 1900 and moved to North Dakota but I don't know whether they were married before they went to ND or after they arrived.
