hello, i am new to the list, and my interest lies in the Ostre Toten area of Oppland. My GGGrandfather was Peter (Peder) Nandrup Fodstad. According to the 1865 census I Believe his father was Augustinus Fodstad. How do I find out a farm name, if there is one. I also would like to find out when and where he left Norway from to come to the usa. I find him in the 1875 census, and then not again until 1902, when he is in Minneapolis, MN.
