    3. (Mahnomen Pioneer) Services for Mrs. Ole Wermager, 80, were held Monday, March 30, at the First Lutheran church with Pastor J. M. Langemo officiating. Pallbearers were her sons, Odin,Clarence, Harry, Carl, Norman, Walter and Miles Wermager. Interment was in the church cemetery by the side of her husband. She lay in state at the Wagstrom Funeral Home at Twin Valley until time of serviees. Mrs. Wermager died suddenly Tuesday evening Mareh 24, at the Lutheran Memorial Home in Twin Valley., Death was caused from an internal hemmorhage. Tilla Gulbranson Dalen was born in Sondre Land, Norway, July 10, 1872. She was baptized August 11, 1872. Her father, Gulbran T. Dalen eame to America in the fall of 1883. Her mother, sister and she came in May, 1884, when she was 11 years of age. The family lived at Gratiot, Wis., the first year, then came to Norman county where they made their home. At the age of 14, on May 23, 1886, she was confirmed at St. Petri Lutheran church. In 1891 she was married to Ole Wermager at Ada, Minn., by Rev. Larson. To this union eleven children were born. The oldest daughter, Mrs. Henry (Olga) Hermanson of Greenbush, Minn., preeeded her in death Jan. 10, 1948. Also preeeding her in death were her parents, her husband, 7 brothers and sisters. Surviors are three daughters Mrs. Herman (Clara) Everson, Gary Mrs. Bennie (Gyda) Buchholz, Flom, and Mrs. Bennie (Ruth) Johnson, Beaulieu; 7 sons, Norman, Towner, ND and Walter, Grand Forks, ND; Harry, Waubun, Odin and Clarence, Twin Valley; Miles, Mahnomen; and Carl, Minneapolis. Also surviving are 55 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Mr. and Mrs. Wermager made their home in the Waukon community until 1927 when they both moved to Montana. After spending four vears there they moved back and settled in Mahnomen county and lived in and around Mahnomen for a number of years. When Mrs. Wermager eould no longer care for her sick husband alone they sold out and lived with their children for a few months until they moved to the Memorial Home at Twin Valley April 4, 1950. Mr. Wermager died May 8, 1950, and Mrs. Wermager continued to live at the Memorial Home. Obit Book 4 Page 47
