Following is the data I have on my great grandmother and her ancestors: Julie Olsdatter (Moen) born 1 or 6 Jan 1864 Blakersmoen farm, Lom, Oppland, Norway Julie's father: Ola Hansen born 17 Nov 1820 Lom his parents: Hans Olsen born 1789 Beret Johannesdatter born 1799 Lom Julie's mother: Barbro Jonsdatter born 23 Jun 1829 Lom her parents: Jon Sevaldsen (son of Sevald Solfestsen) (and Live Olsdatter) Toro Olsdatter of Oukrust or Aukrust Julie's siblings: Berit 1848, Hans 1852, Live 1854, Toro 1856, Jon 1859, Toro 1860, Ola 1867, Synne 1870, and Ronnaug 1875. Most of the family changed their name to Moen when they immigrated. Julie married Olof (Oliver) Hallberg and lived in South Saint Paul, Minnesota Hans married Carrie Ingebretson, (possibly spelled with an E) lived in Kensington, Minnesota Toro married Ivar Aasen Knutsen and lived in North Saint Paul, Minnesota Synne married a "Mr. Oddin" Ronnaug remained single and lived in Minneapolis, Minnesota Any connections with these names?
