Hi, I'm brand new to the list. I'm interested in any information about my great great grandfather Anders Løsnes who was born c. 1792 in Ringebu in Gudbrandsdalen on the farm Løsnes. In the 1840 census he is living in Kongsberg where he marries and raises a family, notably my great grandfather Johannes Andersen Løsnes. I'm trying to find information on the Løsnes farm, especially pictures or even where it is on the map. If anyone is from the area, can you tell me something about Ringebu. I was able to get much info about my family from this author. My family is listed in the Lesja book in the middle of Gudbrandsdalen. Request them through interloan library.
