I am looking for anyone connected to this family. I am currently trying to locate the Bygdebok's for these areas but the local library is having difficulty locating them for me. Rob Generation 1 Marit Johannesdatter Myttingsødegaarden was born November 10 or October 17, 1849 in Gubranstalen, Norway or Ringebo (per her obituary). Marit was the daughter of Johannes Johannesen Trostager or Morkebakken and Mari Johnsdatter Myttingsødegaarden. She married Erik Klemetson on January 2, 1880 in Osterdalen, Norway. Erik was a goat herder. Erik was born on July 9 1854 in Tretten, Gudbrandsdalen, Norway. In 1882 they immigrated to Lake Park, Minnesota. In 1884 they moved to Atlanta Township, Minnesota and then in 1886 to Walworth Township, Minnesota. Erik died on February 9 1936 . He is buried at Calvary Cemetery in Ulen, Minnesota. Marit died on October 19 1937. She is also buried at Calvary Cemetery in Ulen, Minnesota. Generation 2 Johannes Johannesen Trostager or Morkebakken was born on May 18, 1822 in Fåvang or Trøstaker, Oppland. Johannes was the son of Johannes Johannesen Trostager or Morkebakken and Anne Mortensdatter Hoye. He married Mari Johnsdatter Myttingsødegaarden on June 9,1846 in Oppland. Mari was born on March 6, 1818 in Myttingsødegaarden, Fåvang. She died on September 16, 1885 inMorkebakken, Fåvang. Johannes died on June 9, 1846-Fåvang,Oppland. Children of Mari and Johannes: All born Ringebo; Marit b. 1849, Johannes b. 1854, Ole b. 1859, Martinus b. 1862, Kari b. 1857 Generation 3 Johannes Johannessen Odlougsveen, Ringbu was born July 1, 1798 in Odlougsveen, Ringebu. Johannes was the son of Johannes Eriksen Trøståker and Mari Olesdatter Elstad. He was married on March 7, 1822 in Oppland to Anne Mortensdatter Hoye. Anne was born January 12, 1800 in Hoye, Ringebu. She was the daughter of Morten Hanssen and Kari Larsdatter. Johannes died on August 2, 1833 in Fåvang, Oppland. Anne then married Ole Rolvsen Borgedalen from Få Oppland on October 29, 1837. Ole was born in Fåvand on February 14, 1812. Joen Christensen Raevlingen was born on January 13, 1793 in Rævlingen, Fåvang. He was the son of Christen Haldorsen and Mari Joensdatter. He married Marit Gudbrandsdatter Romsås on December 29,1812 in Oppland. Marit was the daughter of Gulbrand Haldorsen Romsaas and Kari Iversdatter. Marit was on November 22, 1789, in Romsås over Fåvang. Marit was the daughter of Gulbrand Haldorsen Romsaas and Kari IversdatterMarit died on December 2, 1878 in Tretten, Oppland. Generation 4 Johannes Trøståker was born on Junly 25, 1756. Johannes was the son of Erik Johannessen Trøståker and Marthe Johannesdatter Brandstad. He married Mari Olesdatter Elstad on July 8, 1782. Mari was born on April 12, 1761. Morten Hanssen Nordrum was born on March 13,1765. He was the son of Hans Mortensen Randulf and Kari Syversdatter Gunstad. He was married on October 22, 1788 to Kari Larsdatter who was born on December 26, 1763. Kari was the daughter of LArs and Giertru Andersdatter Aspen(?). Morten died on July 24, 1812. Kari died on September 9, 1849. Their children as of the 1801 Census: Hans age 10, Lars age 8 and Anne age 2. Christen Haldorsen was born about 1761 and he was married to Mari Joensdatter Nyfløtstuen on March 14, 1782. Mari was born on August 22, 1751. Christen died on January 27, 1819 in Rævlingen, Fåvang. Gulbrand Haldorsen Romsaas was born on February 2, 1757. He married Kari Iversdatter Myttingsødegaarden on July 2, 1778. Kari was born on March 20, 1763 (?). If so, parents were Iver Ostensen and Ingebor Pedersdtr. Possibly born March 20, 1763? or possibly in 1759. If born in 1759, then her parents could be Iver and Anne. Children in 1801 Census: Iver 17, Haldor 9, Anne 23, Beret 15, Marit 12, Anne 6, Kari 2 Generation 5 Erik Johannessen Trøståker was born on MArch 16, 1727 in Ringebu. He was married on April 24, 1749 to Marthe Johannesdatter Brandstad. Marthe was born on February 28, 1730 and died on January 27, 1785 in Brandstad, Ringebu. Erik died on April 19, 1809. Ole Tørgensen Elstad was born on April 19, 1827. He was married to Maren Lauritsdatter Viborg about 1760. Maren was born in 1733 and died on May 11, 1812 at Elstad, Ringebu. Hans Mortensen Randulf was born on February 2, 1741. He was the son of Morten Tomassen Randulf and Anne Erichsdatter Opsahl. Hans married Kari (Karen) Syversdatter Gunstad. Kari was born on November 1, 1746 and she died on October 9, 1824. Hans died on April 10, 1821. Lars? and Giertru Andersdtr (Aspen)? Iver Ostensen (?) and Ingebor Pedersdatter (?) Generation 6 Morten Thomassen Randulf was born on January 14, 1705. He married Anne Erichsdatter Opsahl. Anne was born on December 27, 1706 and died on December 9, 1771.
