Among the items I found were her vaccination record from 1866 with her parents names, which we also had wrong. Their names were John Johannesen and Ingeborg Olsdatter. My grandmother was born in 1861 and she had two brothers, Ole and Christian, and three sisters, Julie, Karen and Johanna. Thanks to Margit I was able to find their baptism records on line so I could get dates and godparents. Thru obituaries I found that Johanna came to Traill County, Dakota in 1877, and married an Anders Gunstad in Hillsboro, North Dakota in 1881.
