Jean, I have indeed seen the passage you refer to, but I'd forgotten that John was reportedly on his way to Tennessee when he died. I would appreciate it if you could check the history for the following relatives who also died in Benson: Agnes Ellsworth, later Agnes Aslakson -- Agnes was born Agnes Arnesen; she was the eldest child of Anthon Arnesen and the cousin of my grandfather, Herbert. Grace Lyle (sometimes Lyle Grace) Ellsworth, later Munson -- Grace was Agnes's only child. Mabel Williams (Mrs. Lewis G. Williams) -- Mabel was Anthon's second daughter. Grace Severn -- Grace was Anthon's third daughter. I actually doubt you'll find her, because I don't think she lived in Benson after her marriage (sometime before 1920).
