Dear Margit : Nils Oleson was born 12 April 1850, married 5 Dec 1870 and died in Feb 1872, his daughter was born shortly after his death in 1872. His widow moved to ND in June 1874 with her parents,her two children, two brothers and sister. They settled next to Fingal Gulbrandson, Enger, on the Goose River. In 1875 Gjertrud married Fingal and Olaus Nilson , my grand father , took the name Enger. Thank you for the quick response.
