Thank you Margit! Rena was born in 1861 or 1862. I don't have a birth or death certificate because I'm not sure where she died. My cousin told me he thinks she died in 1919. Mathias or Matthew as he was also known, was also born in 1862, but that's not definite. They had 4 children. Arthur F., b-7/25/1882; d-9/1/1953. Carl Emil, (my grandfather), b-7/12/1885; d-7/14/1971 Marie Christine, b-7/28/1888; d-4/25/1941 Isaac Alexander, b-6/13/1893; d-6/3/1974 In 1920 Marie was already married to Christian Saxhaug in Washburn, Wi. Matthew left the family around 1902-1910 to build sawmills in Mississippi. He never returned to WI. Rena had several siblings in Eau Claire. I hope this helps.
