Vickie from Minnesota is researching the following farm/families (these names are associated with their immigration to Goodhue County, southern MN): All of the following are from the Vang or Øye parishes in Vang, Valdres, Oppland: Kasa Lien (farm #80; AKA Søre Lien; Søre Lie; Septon) Austreim (AKA Østrem; Estrem in the US) Svien (AKA Sveji in older times) Ellingboe (AKA Ellingbo; Ellingbø) Givre (AKA Gjevre) Jevne (AKA Jøvne) Nystuen (Nystøga in older times) Øydgarden (farm # 87; AKA Vesle Jøvne; Odegaarden) Kongslien (AKA Kungslien) Bunde (?AKA Bundy; Bonde in US?) Lockrem (AKA Løkreim; Lokrem; Løkreimshaugen) Remme (AKA Remmen; Remmenshaugen) Lerohl (AKA Leirol) Øldre (AKA Leine in Vang; Ives in US) Hæn (AKA Heen in US) Specifically looking for information on Gunder/Gunnar Bunde. (He was living in 1640 in Vang). I would like verification on the names of Gunder/Gunnar Bunde's children, who may have lived at Bunde, Jevne or Øydgarden; as well as the name of Gunder/Gunnar Bunde's father. My hunches are Gunder's father was named "Erik/Eirik". I have quite a bit of ancestor/descendant information on the names above, but I'm missing some "pieces". Please contact me off-list if you have any connections to the above. Thanks! Hei Vickie! Just curious, how do you hook into Lockrem/Lochrem? We had a few up in my area here in Minnesota. Margit > Lockrem (AKA Løkreim; Lokrem; Løkreimshaugen)
