I have the 1865 census of his family and his parents but have not been able to find any other information. It is 0536 Land, Torpen sogn ,Sedselstuen farm 1. I have not found anyone with a bygdebok for this area as yet.I also have some of the christening entries for the children listed and the parents names are spelled differently in each case. However this still does not lead me to the farm where they lived at the time or further information. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Larissa
