    3. The Tingelstad New Church started being used in 1866, so that's a definite possibility. The sister churches were also used at that time, but in 1867 only the Nicolai Church was used for services, baptisms, etc. The Maria Church had burned in 1813. A new roof was finished in 1865, but the church was only used for storing coffins.
