Hi all, I have an update on my Ingebor below as I went to Houston County Minnesota last week to do some research. I found the confirmation record of my great grandfather and it stated the following for his confirmation on October 7, 1866. Carl Johan Knudsen born April 11, 1852 in Valdres Parents listed as: Ingebor Gulbrandsdatter Knud Rye (listed as dead in the record) I am suspecting they came from Svenes, does anyone have any Bygdeboks for that area of Norway? Or would anyone know anything about the Rye Gård in the Valdres area? Thanks much for any input.
