"Egge" is a very common name around my home town - Mayville, ND. They include: Otto, John, Sophie, Joseph, Chris, David, Joel, Sharon, Glennis, and so on (they are all related in some way). I don't know where their families originated in Norway. However, if you think any of these people may relate to your ancestry, please let me know.
