A book published in Norway which usually contains history and genealogy information about the people who lived in a district - a bygdebøk. These books have not been compiled and written about all areas of Norway but there does appear to have been two volume work for Nord and Sør-Fron. The LDS library catalog shows that both volumes have been copied to microfiche which you can order and use at any LDS Family History Center. The books will of course have been written in Norwegian.
