I also have placed some family information into Ancestry.com which I can link you to if I have your email. I'm traveling to Norway in July of this year (2007), and am trying to establish contacts there to visit the area. Shirley Manning is helping me with her Soine/Lajord/Kvale/Ellingbo info, and has suggested I get in touch with John Bore Johnsen in Ulnes, Norway. Bob Skogman has also indicated that Erland Nefstad has been helpful in showing Soine relatives to the original farm site near his house in Vang. >From a Norway research site on the internet, I was able to get the gardnummer farm numbers for some of our relatives in the Vang area: Soine (50), Lien (56 & 79), Ellingbo (34/2), Lajord (51/3), Tune (36/2), Myre (47/1), Haen (71), and Eltun(13). Now if I can just get the detailed maps to locate them, and locals who may be knowledgeable about them. Hope you're still monitoring this board. Gregory Fearon
