Hi Peter, With the new message boards, there is no way to find out who made the original post. That is why I changed my user name on the site to my name margitnysetvoldbakke and I notice others have done the same. I usually always sign my posts, unless I forget. I do not like the set up of the message boards now and rarely use them because I do not know who I am speaking with. I would suggest you leave a message on the board to the original post with your email address to have them contact you. This is the original post from 2005 from a Linda Price it appears: Johannes Anstensen-Karen Ellertsdatter Biri 1870 Immigration lprice221 (View posts) Posted: 7 Feb 2005 10:44AM GMT Classification: Query Surnames: Anstensen Ellertsdatter Pedersen Johannesen Johannes and Karen are my gg grandparents. I found them in Norway's 1865 Census. They are from the Skundberg farm and immigrated in 1870 to Wisconsin. I found where they are suppose to be documented in a book called "Utvandringen til Amerika" on page 199; along with Karen's father Ellert Pedersen and childern Ansten, Marthinus, Elen Andrea, Andreas and Peter Johannesen/dtr. Does anyone have access to this book? I'd be most interested in any information you have! You can email me [email protected] or post msg here. Thanks so much!
