He married Berthe Maria JOHANNESDATTER, born 1816, lived in Myrstuen, Norway, married 23 Jan 1846. They had 5 children I believe to this marriage: (1) Johanna PEDERSDATTER, b. 1842; (2) Christian PEDERSON, b. ?; (3) Emil PEDERSON (my great grandfather), b. 1850, Gjestrumbakken, Vestre Toten, Oppland, Norway; (4) Peder Anton PEDERSON, b. 1853; (5) Mathea, b. 1855. This family immigrated to US around 1871 and settled in Spink, Union, South Dakota. Looking for a possible marriage certificate of Peder & Johanna, birth records of all the children (all born in Norway), was Peder or Johanna in a previous marriage? As you can see at least 1 person (Johanna) was born before they were married, so I was wondering if Peder or Berthe was in a previous marriage.
