Mathea Mathiassen, their daughter was born 01 Nov 1861 at Gjovik, Vardal, Oppland. My help is needed finding all the information on this family that I can. The family came to America before 1870. I can find them on Census in the USA. Mathias died shortly after arriving in America and Karen remarried a John C Johnson (tailor by trade) also born in Norway.
