She died 17 May 1905 in Winnebago Co., Iowa. She was buried in Freeborn Co., MN, exact location unknown. I believe her parents, Mikkel Halvordsen HÅDEM and Ingebjorg Jørundsdatter FODNESS remained in Nord-Aurdal, Valdres, Oppland, Norway. Berit and Ole had several children: Ole (1853), Inger (1854), Mikkel (1857), Hendrick (1859), Martin (1862), Johan (1863), and Jorgena (1867). What happened to these SLETTEN children?
