Hi List, I have an ancestor whose marriage record indicates he was at Olstad. One of their children was born at Aulstad. Have not found an Olstad farm on my map and so am wondering if Aulstad and Olstad are one and the same farms. Marcia, I don't know about the farm Bjornsen may have come from, but here is a link that you provide you 'some' data on OLSTAD / OLSTADSVEEN farms and members. I don't consider this list ALL-inclusive for the Øyer region, but very comprehensive as it relates to the KALDOR farm and clan. "http://www.kaldor.no/oyergenealogy/" Click on SURNAMES at the top left side and go from there. If you use the SEARCH mode, be aware that LAST NAME is the farm name and may not always be shown. It is a fairly reasonable search engine, with several options. Keep in mind, however, that entries are not complete. So, if you search for a known birth date and THEY don't have it, you will come up short. Play with it; look at several entries and see what data is common, and HAPPY HUNTING!
