Father: Ole MORTENSEN Norstevollbakke Mother: Olea OLSDATTER Norstevold US Immigration papers indicate an arrival of April 1885 at Portland, ME. I cannot find a trace of evidence of his departure from Norway or arrival in the US (ultimately to Leon Township, Clearwater County, Minnesota). Immigration papers indicate he probably went to North Dakota before Minnesota. The last residence I know of in Norway was Lunde-eiet, Follebu, Gausdal in 1882.
