Ole and Nicoline were married 3 Dec 1854 in Vardal, Oppland, Norway. They had the following children: 1. Nels (b. in 1865) and Julius (b. in 1868) immigrated to America in about 1886. Initially, they both settled in La Crosse County, Wisconsin. After a few years, they moved west. Nels settled in Hood River, Oregon. His brother Julius settled in Montana. The descendants of Nels recently made contact with the descendants of Julius in Montana and have enjoyed getting acquainted.
