    3. This morning I received this thoughtful e-mail from Shelley Cardiel who is attempting to reunite some photographs with the right family. My Aaberg family is from Valdres and I believe that there is a possibility that her family is from a nearby location. Does anyone have thoughts on the topic? Please see the email below. Thanks, Sarah Svard-Ashley >From : Shelley Cardiel <[email protected]> Sent : Saturday, March 10, 2007 8:04 PM To : <[email protected]> Subject : AABERG Family Photographs | | | Inbox I’ve “rescued” two old high school class photographs which belong to the AABERG Family of North Dakota and Washington States. The first photograph is of the 1902 graduating class of Devil’s Lake High School with Helena AABERG identified in the photograph. The second photograph is of a 1912 class or group from Tacoma, WA with the group identified “A posse ad esse” but no actual school name. Included in the group is Joseph AABERG. All of the people in the second photograph are identified on the back of the photograph, they include: Nils M. LEQUE Henrik NILSON Agnes B. CHRISTENSEN Ida FJELDE John KULSLY Louis ROEN Ordin HIEM Lewis NEN Joe AABERG (name Joseph appears on the front of the photograph) Conrad GAARD Henry HUSBY Henry O. TORVAUGER Harold G. JOHNSON I am hoping to locate someone from this AABERG Family or one of the other identified families so that these wonderful old photographs can be returned to the care of family. If you are a member of this family, or know someone who might be, please contact me.
