I was hoping that maybe there was something in Biri and Vardal that had more information on the emigrants. The names so far are: Elisa Evensdatter came to US in 1853 born 1839 Helene Evensdatter """""""""""""""""""born 1843 Johan Evensen""""""""""""""""""""""""born 1847 Martin Vern Evensen""""""""""""""""""born 1835 Mathias Evensen came to the US in 1850 born 1829 Marthe Velliksdatter the mother came in 1853 born in 1802 Even Christiansen came in 1853 They all came from the farm Gubberudeie in Vardal, Oppland, Norway.
