Roxanne, Hmmmmm, we're looking at some very common names here. To help in narrowing down our search from 50 states to less than 10, can you tell us what the connection is between these people and your family? I don't know what your background is in genealogy. So, being on the safe side, let me say, without any intention of offending, that normally, we try to start at the 'present' and work back through history. For example, if YOUR maiden name is EVENSON, and Martin Evenson was your great-grandfather, with Even Christiansen as your g-g-grandfather, where did your parents / grandparents / great-grandparents settle? Because many of the Norwegians traveled and settled in groups, following similar routes across the USA, any current / recent history data may be helpful in backtracking your family (birth / marriage / death certificates / obituaries, etc). This family may be using the Evenson name or, as many in my database show, Evenson may have become their middle name / initial and they retained Dad's patronymic as their family name (e.g., Mathias E. Christianson). Girls, because they often change names when marrying, will be harder to track. Have a nice day! Clark in Japan Roxanne wrote: > Thank you for the reply.
