Peder Iverson is not listed in 1865 Census (Skinnehaugen) so perhaps he died previous to this date. Am hoping that someone can help me with DOB and DOD for Peder and Marit. I know that the children came to America (Wisconsin), but the parents did not. Thanks for your time and do appreciate all that you do! Hi, This is interesting. This is a part of my family. Marit Iversdatter was the daughter of Iver Thorsen Morken , born abt 1767 and wife Kari Knudsdatter born also approx 1767 dead Oct 19.1893 Marit was born Jan 21, 1809 dead March 21, 1873. Peder was probably born Feb.2,1814 as son of Iver Andersen Gryttingsodegaard and Marit pedersdatter. Peder probably dead on March 19,1892. By reading your message again, I think there may be a mix up of different families here. Could you please tell who your Ggrandfather was?. The copuple married in Sor Fron on June 12, 1835 is Peder Iversen Gryttingseiet dob Feb.2.1814 and Marit Iversdatter,Skurdalseiet (Morken) dob Jan.21,1809.
