Walter Jenswold officiating. Burial was in the Salem Ridge Cemetery. Mrs. Silbaugh was born in Gulbrandsdalen, Norway, February 27, 1857, and came to America at the age of 13. In 1876 she was married to Peter Frydenberg who died in 1881. In 1886 she was married to Sebastian Silbaugh, who died in 1992. Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. Josephine Hanson, Taylor; Mrs. A. E. Peterson, Hinkley, Minn.; Mrs. Hallie Campbell, La Farge; Mrs. Clarence Olson and Mrs. Carl Villand, both of Westby; four sons, Elmer, Oakland, Calif.; Ivan, La Crosse, and Alvin of Kendall; 25 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
