In your opening comment you give his birth location as HELGESTAD. In the marriage registration, it shows his residence as GIERSTAD. So, in searching for PEDER's birth, I look for him by searching for babies' names ONLY, starting with PE, as well as for all fathers' names starting with AND. NONE are connected to ANY of the above farm names during the period 1766 - 1772 (I also search 1772-1780 - same results).
