And, while not positive, I think there is an area in/near Trondheim called Nordenfjelds. However, there also is a NORDFJELL in Eidskog, Hedmark. Hi Clark! You're correct Thjem is a common abbreviation for Trondhjem/Trondheim. The term Nordenfjelds refers to all of Norway north of the Dovre mountains, notably Trøndelag.
