The 1875 and 1900 censuses of Hammerfest, Finnmark shows that Poul Olsen Bolstad was born 1830 in Vaagens prestegjeld (not Vaage in Gudbrandsdalen). Vaagen should has been in Vestrålen Islands. However I do not find him in the 1865 census of Vaagen. Oh, I put my answer in a wrong thread (subjec: Farm Name ...). In the 1865 census of Hammerfest town I find Poul Olsen Bolstad 44 years old birthplace Waage. Ages do not agree and the birth places do not agree.
