I think you've got something here. My grandfather was Anton A Skaaden b 27 April, 1863 in Norway; mother Marit b (about) 1832 d 1922 in Day County, SD USA. They immigrated to USA sometime in 1880, first settling in MN USA, then homesteading in Day County SD USA. This is really exciting for me! As I said, I am a newcomer to this, and didn't really expect anything to come of it.
