On a 'Lien' farm too - Lien nordre (north) specifically. Poul - Paul; 6 of one - 1/2 dozen of the other. Spelling was not important and rarely consistent. Some of my family too took various different American surnames too - brothers living in the American midwest and completely different names. Farm names and patronymics adapted to fit their new surroundings. That is exciting for you. I'm so pleased. Something must have clicked - I think you are started!! Go back to that exact 1875 census page (your link works beautifully, thanks). It will have reverted to Norwegian headings and instructions but now click on "Same onråde" in the blue bar near the top of the page. That will give you a quick list of the other databases that Digitalarkivet currently has available for Nord-Fron. Use a translation website to work out what each is and see if any might be more help to you.
