Their son was Ole Olsen Lis-eie born April 2, 1809. The Lis-eie farm is most likely in the Ostre Gausdal area. Does anyone know where on the map the Lis-eie farm or the Sameien farm might have been located? Perhaps they were both sub-farms. Dear Robert, I am deeply sorry, but I cannot find any of theese names at Sør-Fron in the 1900 census. I cannot find Saxild in Øyer either. I have good source books, and have taken pictures of all farms in Sør-Fron so I know the area. I know how difficult job it can be to locate family roots. My paternal roots are very strong in the Øyer area of Oppland. Oddly enough, it was my paternal grandmother's roots that connect with the HUNDORP line. His father again was Arne Knudsen (1731) and his father again Knud Knudsen - dont now his year of birth. His father again was Knud Olsen, Loe who got married to Marthe Arnesdatter in 1710.They lived at the farm Lo in Lobygda, near to Leira in Nord-Aurdal, Valdres.
